About Laurie

I've always been deeply curious about the stories that shape us — the moments, relationships, and choices that bring us to where we are. I'm drawn to understanding not just where you've been, but where you hope to go. My intention is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely supported as you explore your path forward.

I earned my B.A. in Community Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a focus on sexual health education and reproductive rights. Throughout this work, I witnessed the profound impact of people's experiences — how these experiences influence our relationship to ourselves and our ability to heal. This understanding inspired me to pursue a deeper level of training so I could support others more holistically.

I hold an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, a program that weaves together Western psychology and Eastern wisdom traditions. This integrative approach allows me to meet you where you are — emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually — and walk with you through your healing journey.

Outside of my work, I find joy and grounding in nature — whether it's hiking or forest bathing. I'm passionate about travel, adventure, and music. I deeply believe in music’s capacity to heal and connect us to something greater. I look forward to hearing from you.
