About Laurie

I have always had a passion and curiosity to hear people's stories. I love an origin story. I want to understand what led you to this place in the here and now and where you want to go. I hope to cultivate a space for you to feel safe. heard, and supported. I received my BA in Community Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a focus on sexual health education and reproductive rights. After years of working in this field, I understood how deep and powerful people's experiences were. This led me to the realization that receiving a masters degree in Psychology would allow me to have the education and wisdom to help you move through the depths of this exploration.

I have a MA from the California Institute of Integral Studies through the Integral Counseling Psychology Program. Besides loving this work, I enjoy going on adventures, hiking in nature, taking forest baths and traveling. I love music and believe it has the power to heal.
